Qurbani (sacrifice) is one of the most important rituals in Islam, performed every year during Eid ul Adha to honor the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (عليه السلام). As Muslims, it is our duty not only to perform the sacrifice with sincerity, but also to recite the correct Qurbani ki Dua before slaughtering the animal.
At The Warsi Farm, we not only provide farm-fresh animals and services but also guide our community with Islamic knowledge so that every step of worship is done correctly.
✅ Importance of Reciting Dua in Qurbani
The act of Qurbani is not just about sacrificing an animal, it is about showing complete submission to Allah (SWT). By reciting the dua, we acknowledge that life belongs to Allah, and we are offering the sacrifice in His name alone. Without reciting the dua, the Qurbani is incomplete.
🕌 Qurbani Ki Dua (Before Slaughter)
بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ اَللّٰہُ اَكْبَرُ
Bismillahi Allahu Akbar
اللّٰهُمَّ إنَّ هَذَا مِنْكَ وَ لَكَ
Allahumma inna hādhā minka wa laka
اللّٰهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي
Allahumma taqabbal minnī
👉 Translation:
“In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, this sacrifice is from You and is for You. O Allah, accept it from me.”
⚠️ Things to Keep in Mind During Qurbani

-
The animal should be healthy, free from defects, and of the required age.
-
